Data Insights

Athletes using the Forerunner 955 Solar report training efficiency improvements of nearly 30% by leveraging the device's VO2 max assessments and performance condition metrics. The training readiness score provides actionable daily guidance on whether your body is recovered enough for a hard workout or needs an easy day, reducing overtraining risk and injury frequency. Morning reports automatically compile sleep metrics, recovery status, and that day's suggested workout intensity, delivering actionable insights before you begin your training session.

Usage Instructions

Wear the Forerunner 955 Solar during all training sessions and throughout the day to maximize solar charging and collect accurate recovery data. Sync the watch with the Garmin Connect mobile app to access detailed performance trends, review Garmin Coach training plans, and receive personalized recommendations. Use the training readiness score as your decision-making tool: scores above 50 indicate readiness for harder efforts, while lower scores suggest prioritizing recovery through easy runs or cross-training.
